Singular(คำเอกพจน์)

คำนามเอกพจน์ จะไม่เติม s
Example : a car, one piece

คำกริยาเอกพจน์ จะเติม s หรือ es
Example : eats, sings, goes


Plural(คำพหูพจน์)

คำนามพหูพจน์ จะเติม s
Example : many cars, two pieces

คำกริยาพหูพจน์ จะไม่เติม s หรือ es

ใช้กล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เป็นกิจวัตรประจำวัน เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นตลอดเวลาเป็นปกติ หรือสิ่งที่ทำเป็นประจำ หรือข้อเท็จจริงทั่วไปของโลกเรา

รูปประโยค

บอกเล่า
I/You/We/They/ประธานพหูพจน์ + V
He/She/It/ประธานเอกพจน์ + Vเติมs

คำถาม
Do + I/you/we/they/ประธานพหูพจน์ + V?
Does + he/she/it/ประธานเอกพจน์ + V?

ปฏิเสธ
I/You/We/They/ประธานพหูพจน์ + do not(don't) + V
He/She/It/ประธานเอกพจน์ + does not(doesn't) + Vเติมs

Example :
1. Anna takes a shower everyday.
2. They usually read the newspaper in the morning.
3. Every twelve months, the Earth circles the Sun.
4. I don't read the newpaper on Sunday.
5. Does she play tennis?


Present Continuous

ใช้กล่าวถึงเหตุการณที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในขณะนี้ หรืออาจจะเกิดขึ้นในอดีตต่อเนื่องมาปัจจุบันและอาจกำลังจะต่อเนื่องไปในอนาคตด้วย

Frequency Adverb (คำขยายกริยาแสดงความถี่)

ในภาษาอังกฤษ Frequency Adverb ทำหน้าที่ขยายความให้กับคำกริยา ซึ่งจะแสดงถึงความถี่ของการกระทำเหตุการณ์นั้นๆ Frequency Adverb จะอยู่ ต้น กลาง หรือท้ายประโยคก็ได้ แต่ส่วนใหญ่เราจะพบอยู่ในช่วงกลางของประโยคค่ะ

Subject + Freq. Adv. + V

หรือ

Subject + V to be + Freq. Adv.


Example :
1. He often buys candy from this shop.
2. Kate never eats breakfast in the morning.
3. Do they usually go shoping?
